RESOURCES FOR HELP

TREATMENT AND RECOVERY

Whether it's groups, individual counseling, telehealth, or a combination, there are many different resources for help in the U.S.!

Following are some key places to seek help.

The National Council on Problem Gambling provides resources for help by state.

BetBlocker is a free tool to help people control their gambling. The app can be installed on as many devices, and blocks over 15,000 gambling websites and counting.

"Your First Step to Change" is a free self-help toolkit for anyone wanting to make a change or seeks information about their own risky behavior. The toolkits help people:

  • Gain information about gambling and gambling problems.

  • People evaluate their own behavior.

  • Develop change strategies, should they decide that change is the best course.

Several languages of the booklet are available.
